Holiday Boat Parade Entry
November and December
Rear Commodore Josef Davydovits
This year's entry into the Huntington Harbour 50th Anniversary Holiday Boat Parade did not require months of set piece preparation;
so the build process happened at the Bonaire Dock.
The process started with the arrival of the set pieces and the workers.
Master float builder, Bob McCormick gives instruction to the crew.
Everything is ready - the set pieces are staged - the workers are anxious to get to work - cable ties are in abundance.
All we need now is something to decorate.
And here she comes, just in time. Fresh off a very successful fishing trip, it's Fin-Tastic.
The blank canvas.
Commodore Dale Giali takes time out to present Robin Clark
with the bar be que tool set in honor of his work as an event host in 2012.
Thanks to Robin and Jean for your generous contributions to our club.
The other guy, in the red shirt, is Staff Commodore Mike Courtway.
I don't know, they all seem to be staring at the materials. Maybe it is time to re instruct them, Bob.
. . . and in conclusion don't put any of those nails with the large heads anywhere they will show.
Commodore Dale Giali takes valuable work time to present Kevin Cloud
with the bar be que tool set in honor of his work as an event host. Thanks Kevin and Candy.
Commodore Dale Giali, once again stops all work as he presents Pat Jenkes
with the SGYC bar be que tools set in honor of their participation as event hosts for 2012.
Thank your Vaughn and Pat for all you do.
Thank you to all who helped put our entry together. It wouldn't get done without you!!!
