For you folks who have already viewed this page, this new first photo
may be called a "variation on a theme". You will find the actual photo,
consistant with the theme, near the end of the presentation,
in its actual time line sequence, where all of the important folks will be in full color.
Your hosts for the 2012 Cinco de Mayo Carnival Cruise welcome you to enjoy the trip with us.
Welcome aboard!!
Twenty-eight hardy SeaGate members and friends boarded the Carnival Inspiration on May 4 at Long Beach under gray skies for the overnight transit to Ensenada and into bright sunshine to commemorate Cinco de Mayo 2012!
As a group, we dined and partied morning and noon and attended festive, colorful shows at night!
The highlights of our trip were our walking tour of Ensenada . . .
and partying at Mango Mango on the afternoon of Cinco de Mayo, . . .
During the Cinco de Mayo Celebration Party, we also commemorated the 09th Birthday Party of Kathy Lee,
or did she have the card upside down?
followed by the Captain’s Dinner, and our sort-of-private ship board party thrown by the Carnival Cruise Line for our members and guests! It was festive, fun, and best of all, no one was left behind!
Our intrepid Commodore Dale Giali was awarded the Dumb Bell Award by the previous recipient,
Jr Staff Commodore Les Kelly, for his “mishandling” of a line on Opening Day.
The surviving, sadly mangled pieces of the line were presented to him along with the “Dumb Bell” Flag!
All participants had a great time.
Commodore Dale Giali and First Mate Susan Westover are to be congratulated
for leading us on a fun trip in celebration of Cinco de Mayo 2012!
